Welcome to Kids Talk Story and thank you for enrolling your child.
Our children today live hectic lives filled with electronic media-- but when they come to Kids Talk Story, they experience a calm, quiet space with caring adult interaction. Each child works at his or her own pace. Each child experiences positive feedback—it’s the key to a healthy creative life!
We discuss the ways in which the main character of a story is the “hero” of that story, and we point out the good qualities of a hero. As the students work on their own story starters in class, we suggest that they, too, are the “heroes” of their own stories and their own lives. This is a theme that supports a student in developing his or her own pages over the course of the 12 sessions.
Our teachers are highly qualified to help your child learn to love writing. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or to share any goals you may have for your young author.
